LG X-Note Z330 Ultrabook Notebook revealed

LG has announced a new Ultrabook in South Korea, the Xnote Z330. The new Xnote Z330 is a 13.3-inch laptop with a bezel measuring a mere 8mm.

The LG X-Note Z330 has features a Core i7 2637M or Core i5 2467M, 4GB of RAM, a 120/256GB SSD, an Intel HD Graphics 3000, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0+HS, Intel WiDi, HDMI, USB 3.0 and a microSD card reader.

It’s a mere 14.7mm (0.58-inches) in thickness, 1.21kg (2.67 pounds) in weight, it is trimmer than the fruit themed laptop. Like the Apple Macbook Air, the LG Xnote Z330 is wedged-shaped so tapers down to a thinner point. The metallic silver finish, the black keyboard, the unibody design are obviously all “inspired” by Apple’s Macbook Air.  The ultrabook concept is great for consumers as it makes it possible for manufacturers to create razor-thin laptops but these manufacturers should come up with unique designs and not merely copy Apple. The lighter weight was made possible by reducing the screen border by 8mm using ‘Narrow Bezel’ technology.

LG said the laptop will boot up in a 100m dash style time of 9.9 seconds. The recommended price of LG X-Note Z330 Ultrabook starting at ₩1,700,000 ($1,500).
