Asus somewhat made a breakthrough when presenting tablet EeePad Nvidia Tegra chip-based Transformer 2. That said, the Nvidia Tegra chip 3 was followed attend this year.Nvidia Tegra 3 is based on quad-core chip code-named "Kal-El '. Competitors chip is an ARM Cortex-A9 and claimed five times faster than Tegra 2.
As quoted by Digitimes, Monday (09/05/2011), Asus will present the successor EeePad with Tegra 3 on this 2011. Along with that they also launched EeePad Slider EP102 and EP71 Eee Memo Pad 7 inch size within three months.
Here are some highlights project named "Kal-El 'this:
- The first mobile CPU chip in the world with quad-core processors
- Has 12-Core GPU Nvidia 3D Stereo
- Extreme HD resolutions up to 2560 x 1600 pixels
- Claimed five times faster than the Tegra 2
