Samsung SCH-W999 Phone

Samsung has recently announced the launch of a very interesting dual-screen flip Android phone in China, the SCH-W999.
The two screens were placed back to back, and each of them is a 3.5-inch Super AMOLED panel that can deliver a 480 x 800 pixels resolution.
Along with these, the new mobile phone sports a fast 1.2GHz application processor inside, a dual-core Qualcomm MSM8660, which should result in increased performance capabilities being delivered to users.

The specifications list of the new device also shows Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi and WAPI (China’s own WiFi standard).
This handset was unveiled in partnership with China Telecom and apart from supporting GSM networks; it will support 3G through CDMA as well.
Release date and pricing have not been finalized, but the W999 is expected to launch in 2012.
