Samsung Galaxy Xtreme S5690 has just launched and comes in an ‘orange black’ variant in Netherlands. This Samsung handset is a rugged Android smartphone that meets IP67 certified for dirt, dust, and waterproof.
The Samsung Galaxy Xcover S5690 has an 800MHz Marvell MG2 processor, 512MB of RAM, 150MB of internal storage, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB). A 3.6-inch HVGA Gorilla Glass display, GPS navigation, Wi-Fi, HSDPA and a 3.2MP autofocus digital camera. The phone runs on the Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.
In the UK, the rugged Samsung Galaxy Xcover S5690 will be released in early January (initial plan is last/this month).
Handtec, the British retailer, is offering the Samsung Galaxy Xcover Extreme S569 at the price tag of 224.39 pound.
