Today at CES, Huawei announced its most ambitious smartphone yet – the Ascend P1 S. Touted as the world’s thinnest smartphone, it is 6.68mm thick at its thinnest point – slightly thinner than the DROID RAZR’s 7.1mm body.
The Ascend P1 S is also the fastest and most compact smartphone in its class with a dual-core 1.5GHz TI OMAP 4460 Cortext-A9 processor and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
It also feature a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass that pushes 960 x 540 pixels, an 8-megapixel BSI (back illuminated sensor) rear camera, a 1.3-megapixel HD front-facing camera, dual LED flash and HDR effect optimization. Its high speed data connectivity through 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and in-built social media capabilities enable you to instantly share your photos and videos via social media.
The Ascend P1 S is available in metallic black, ceramic white and cherry-blossom pink with more colors to come to match your personal style wherever you are, whatever you’re doing. The Huawei Ascend P1 S will be available worldwide from April 2012, price to be determined.
