Samsung has just released the highly-anticipated Android 2.3 Gingerbread software update for the Galaxy S in South Africa.
The South Korean handset manufacturer confirmed almost three months ago that it decided to update all Galaxy S units to Android 2.3 Gingerbread beginning mid-April.
Although the Samsung was forced to delay the deployment of the Gingerbread update for unknown reasons,
