Verizon Delivers Gingerbread to DROID X Test Users

Mobile phone maker Motorola Mobility and wireless carrier Verizon have already started to deliver the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system update to Motorola DROID X devices on the operator's airwaves.

The first batch of updates arrived on test units last night, and should be released on more handsets in the near future, provided that things move according to plan.
