Setting Modem Palm Treo 650 CDMA Fren

Cara setting koneksi internet:
1. Tekan tombol Home (Tombol Application)
2. Lalu scroll layar dan cari Icon Menu PREF.
3. Cari menu Network
4. Tekan tombol Menu
5. Tekan Service> New
6. Pada Menu Service: Berikan nama setting koneksi (Apa saja, misal: FREN)
7. Pada Menu Connection, pilih High Speed Wireless
8. Pada Username: m8 (untuk Vol Based), m8-ISP (untuk Time Based)
9. Pada Password: m8
10. Tekan Modify, untuk menghilangkan kunci settingnya
11. Tekan Details, lalu hilangkan tanda “check mark” pada box Mobile-IP
12. Setelah itu tekan [OK] untuk menyimpan settingannya
13. Jika sudah selesai, tekan [DONE]

Cara melakukan koneksi Akses Datanya:
1. Tekan tombol Home (Tombol Application)
2. Pilih Icon Menu WEB
3. Lalu tekan tombol Menu
4. Pilih Menu Page Connect
5. Tunggu beberapa saat, sampai ada tanda terhubung ke internet (Panah hijau di dekat indikator sinyal).
6. Setelah itu masukkan alamat web yang mau di kunjungi dan tekan [GO] atau enter di keyboardnya.

Cara bila telah selesai melakukan koneksi:
1. Setelah selesai browsing, tekan kembali Tombol Menu
2. Pilih Menu Page Disconnect
3. Tunggu beberapa saat sampai indikator koneksi di dekat signal hilang.

Cara Setting VPN Palm Treo650:
1. Tekan tombol HOME (Tombol Application)
2. Pilih Icon Menu PREF
3. Cari menu Network
4. Lalu Pilih VPN, lalu pilih Add Account.
5. Pada Menu Account beri nama settingan koneksinya: (Apa Saja, Misal: FREN-ISP)
6. Pada Username: Input Username dari ISP yang digunakan.
7. Pada Password: Input Password dari ISP yang digunakan.
8. Pada VPN Server Name or Address: Input setting IP Address VPN, pilih di sini (link to VPN Address di time based charging)
9. Tekan [OK] untuk menyimpan settingan koneksi
10. Tekan [OK] untuk kembali ke menu VPN

Cara koneksi Internet dengan VPN:
1. Tekan tombol Home (Tombol Application)
2. Pilih Icon Menu WEB
3. Lalu tekan tombol Menu
4. Pilih Menu Page Connect
5. Tunggu beberapa saat, sampai ada tanda terhubung ke internet (Panah hijau di dekat indikator sinyal).
6. Lalu tekan tombol Menu
7. Pilih Menu Option Connect VPN.
8. Setelah itu masukkan alamat web yang mau di kunjungi dan tekan [GO] atau tekan Enter pada keyboard (Pastikan Untuk Koneksi dengan VPN untuk First dial Username: m8-ISP).

The just-launched Palm Pre promises to bring ailing Palm back from the depths of financial ruin. No longer will your business and personal lives need to be separated, the Palm Pre integrates all aspects of your life in an easy-to-use platform that’s still powerful and flexible enough to take your virtual office with you.

Palm Synergy is possibly the coolest feature of the Web OS.

Enter your Facebook credentials and Synergy will search out all your contacts and automatically add them to your contacts list - complete with profile information (like phone numbers and email addresses) as well as pictures.

Synergy can also draw contact information from multiple sources, like other social networks.

Another interesting feature is the universal search tool. Simply bring up the search box and start typing for whatever you need - food, a contact, and email, a song, or a movie theater - and Universal Search will automatically scour your device for appropriate content. If the Web OS can’t find anything on your Palm Pre that matches your search, it’ll search Google, Wikipedia, or even offer to map the location for you.

Oh, and then there’s the 3.1-inch capacitance touchscreen that’s just a joy to use. Combined with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and the gesture-control area directly below the display, the Palm Pre offers intuitive navigation and sleek design.

But, it doesn’t stop there. Oh no, not in the least.

The Palm Pre sports a 3 megapixel camera, GPS, WiFi, EVDO Rev. A data connection (3G), 8GB of on-board storage, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a super-fast CPU based on the OMAP3 architecture (the Palm Pre is the first mobile phone to use the processor, in fact).

We’re looking for the Palm Pre to hit market in the first half of 2009 (1H 2009). And there are rumblings about the Sprint subsidized pricing coming in around $400 on contract, but we’re not going to hold our breath. Palm would do well to get this little baby out as quickly as possible.

Needless to say, we’re enamored with the Palm Pre. We’ve already offered a sacrificial intern to the Palm reps in exchange for a early review unit - it would be totally worth it.

SETELAH lama vakum, Palm Treo kembali meluncurkan produk terbarunya yang diberi nama Palm Treo Pro.

Smartphone keluaran Palm ini tampil dengan desain lebih baik.

Bahkan, bisa dibilang, Palm Treo Pro adalah smartphone dengan tampilan modern.

Palm Treo Pro juga support dengan layar touchscreen beresolusi 320 x 320 piksel dan fitur screensaver yang akan menampilkan waktu atau missed call maupun pesan teks dan pesan multimedia (MMS) baru.

Palm Treo Pro mampu menjalankan Windows Mobile 6.1, lengkap dengan Microsoft Office Mobile Suite dan Direct Push Technology untuk pengiriman email secara real time.

Perangkat pintar ini menggunakan jaringan GSM, transfer data kecepatan tinggi HSDPA.

Untuk prosesor, Palm memercayakan Qualcomm MSM7201 400 MHz dan RAM sebesar 128 MB.

Untuk penyimpanan data, Palm Treo Pro yang bekerja pada jaringan GSM quad band GSM 850/900/1800 dan 1900 Mhz ini menyediakan kapasitas sebesar 256 MB.

Selain itu, Prosesor Qualcomm ini memiliki built-in GPS, slot microSDHC untuk memori eksternal dan internal 100 MB.

Vendor Palm mengklaim, Smartphone berdimensi 114 x 60 x 13,4 mm dengan berat 133 gram ini memiliki manajemen perangkat yang mudah dan aman digunakan.

Selain itu, gadget ini memiliki resolusi tinggi dengan keyboard QWERTY.

Untuk transfer data, Palm Treo Pro mengantisipasinya dengan koneksi HSDPA, satu level di atas 3G biasa dalam hal kecepatan transfer.

Smartphone baru ini juga telah dibekali kamera berkekuatan 2 megapiksel yang diletakkan di bagian belakang. Menggunakan layar TFT seluas 320 x 320 piksel berkedalaman 65.000 warna.

Guna memgukuhkan Palm Treo Pro sebagai gadget canggih, disertakan juga fasilitas 3.5 mm standard audio jack.
