(Video) Penampakan Tablet iPad 3

Fujitsu Arrows waterproof tablet

Fujitsu party piece for the CES 2012 (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas was a waterproof tablet going by the name of the Fujitsu Arrow, a robust Honeycomb slate whose seamless premium plastic shell is intended to withstand water, dirt and high pressure.

Not only is it fully waterproof to a depth of five metres (!), but it also flies through cyberspace pretty snappily, thanks to a decent set of components. A dual-core 1GHz TI OMAP 4430 processor is paired with 1GB RAM and 16GB storage space.

The display is a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 pixel screen, above which sits a 1.3MP camera, and on the rear Fujitsu have included a 5MP camera for those Jacques Cousteau moments. The Japanese LTE bands may not be compatible with North American networks but there’s scope for US network connectivity. We hear Fujitsu is working hard to secure carrier support stateside

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, 7.0 Plus Spotted in White

White devices are all the rage these days and that is especially true in the Samsung camp. A couple of existing tablets of theirs will soon be coming in white as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus have been spotted in the neutral color on a Vietnamese site. We don’t expect anything other the hood to be different. No word on when or where we’ll see these but it’s great to see they exist.

OLPC XO 3.0 tablet running Android priced at $100

OLPC (One Laptop per Child) will have an interesting tablet at this year’s CES, and is said to start off at $100. The tablet, named XO 3.0, is 8 inches with a resolution of 1024×768. The actual screen type will vary depending on how it is configured upon purchase; a PixelQi display will run you ~$100 over the original starting price and standard LCD screen.

Although, I highly recommend investing into PixelQi technology. Their displays don’t just save battery life, they are extremely easy to read in sunlight – which has been an ongoing issue in standard LCD screens. However, you should be able to charge the XO 3.0 on the go with a hand crank or solar panel!
It may be tough to actually purchase one of OLPC’s laptops because they will primarily sell them to countries in bulk. But I have a feeling there will be many more tablets with a $100.00 price tag during CES next week, so it will be interesting to see how they all compare. The XO 3.0 could come out the clear winner – but I’m not sure it’s fair to compare OLPC to other manufacturers, as they claim to be doing this for the kids of the world – and not themselves.

JXD S7100 Android Gaming Tablet powered same with Galaxy S II Specs at a price tag of $140

We’ve seen quite a few Android gaming handsets make their way out of China and while the JXD S7100 doesn’t look much different, it’s what this handset has on the inside that really caught our eye. Boasting specs more along the lines of a Galaxy S II device, the JXD offers almost the same processor with a dual-core Cortex A-9 processor and Mali 400 graphics core powering the device. This makes the JXD more than capable of most graphics intensive Android titles as long as they don’t require anything over Android 2.2, which the device comes, shipped with. Also found inside the device is 512MB of RAM, 2MP rear/.3MP front facing cameras, 16GB of internal storage and HDMI out. A huge 7-inch touchscreen display can be found on front with a resolution of 800×480.

The JXD S7100 laughably advertises “Apple games” and most will find greater use with the available emulator apps for Android than its own custom app center. I’d say the most appeal is in its $140 price-tag making this an almost instant buy should you come across this at your local swap meet. If you want to see the JXD in action, check out the video below — oh, and you’re going to want to turn your speakers up.

Beetel Magiq Glide 7-inch Tablet Features Specification Price

Beetel has rolled out a new Android tablet in India. Known as the Magiq Glide, the tablet features a 1GHz processor with a 7-inch WVGA multitouch display, an 8GB of internal storage space and a microSD card slot for storage expansion of up to 16GB. Beetel Magiq Glide also offers a 2MP rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing camera, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, 3G and a SIM card slot. Its 2200mAh Li-Ion battery provides enough juice for up to 60-hour of standby time. Folks in India are able to purchase the Beetel Magiq Glide Android tablet for INR 11,999 or approx. $225.

When it comes to OS, Magiq Glide runs on Google Android along with Froyo, integrated operating software that assists you in getting the blended taste of Beetle Magiq Glide. But I think Beetle will let you down here, when you can see that Android has already launched Ice Cream Sandwich and big player like HTC got its only tablet, HTC Flyer to Honeycomb. This can be a setback for Beetle company especially when it is looking to take on big names like Apple and Samsung to just name a few in the market.

So, guys what do you think for Beetle Magiq Glide tablet? Do you think it’s worth a buy? I would love to know your thoughts on this gadget.

Motorola Xyboard 8.2 Tablet Review

The new kid on the block might be Ice Cream Sandwich, but Honeycomb tablets will continue to appear for a while yet. Motorola was an Android Honeycomb pioneer, way, way back at the start of 2011 with the Xoom, and Motorola have now launched a successor in the form of the Xybpard, produced to an 8.2-inch form factor. We won’t refer to it as the Xoom 2, since strictly speaking that title belongs to the 10.1-inch version. In the US the Motorola Xyboard features LTE, and with a two-year contract the 16GB model costs $430, while the 32GB version will set you back $530.

As things stand, in the realm of premium tablets, the Asus Transformer Prime is the newly-crowned king, so that will be our main point of comparison here. Compared to the old Xoom, the Xyboard 8.2 is more slender, weighs less and is generally superior in design, even if it continues the murky, industrial theme of its predecessor. To emphasize the point, a metal plate on the tab’s rear is held firmly in place by six exposed screws, while the raised rubberized area surrounding that plate gives the Xyboard a novel contrast of textures and depth, adding style and making the tablet very agreeable to handle. It compares very favorably with the cold, hard metal of the Transformer Prime or iPad 2, although the Xyboard is slightly thicker than those two, swelling to 0.35 inches at its thickest point. It doesn’t weigh much for all that – at 0.85 pounds (386g) it’s considerably lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9.

Button placement hasn’t improved between the generations – just as on the Xoom, when held in portrait orientation the Power button and now the volume rocker sit unnervingly close to your index finger, leading to the occasional accidental presses. The left and right edges of the tablet are socket-free, and an IR blaster sits dead-centre above the display, flanked by the headphone jack and one of the two speakers. No doubt that IR will be useful for TV remote control, but Motorola might have included some software to get us started. The other speaker is situated down below, with micro-HDMI and micro-USB sockets, together with the LTE micro SIM slot, concealed behind a suspiciously flimsy port cover.
The 8.2-inch, 1280 x 800 LCD screen gives good brightness and contrast, with excellent viewing angles, but obviously is no match for Samsung’s Super AMOLED Plus displays. A 720p video-enabled 5MP rear camera is teamed with an LED flash, and out front the Xyboard features a 1.3MP snapper, next to an LED light which will alert you to any waiting messages. With the rear cam the Motorola Xyboard 8.2 managed very decent video capture, although sudden movements outdoors could lead to temporary washing-out. Colours were ever so slightly muted, but for $500 buyers shouldn’t expect TV-quality footage.
The raw specs for the Xyboard are a 1.2GHz dualcore TI OMAP processor with 1GB RAM, which two months ago would have been quite impressive…however we have now entered the era of the Transformer Prime, and any shortfall in specs must be made up for by user experience.
As with every other Honeycomb tablet, the Xyboard stutters from time to time whilst browsing, and while apps launch quicker and games run smoother than with the Xoom, amnd even though HD video playback is problem-free but browsing can be sluggish here and there. Forgetting the Transformer Prime, benchmarks scores are decent, though for sheer number-crunching ability (and by extension heavy applications and gaming) the Xyboard falls down, especially now the quadcore Prime has raised the bar. A very decent tablet, but it has to be measured against the competition. For slickness, the iPad 2 is still on the podium, and for sheer processing gumption, the Transformer Prime is a far better buy, even for a few dollars more.

Nokia Tab Concept Tablet Design Features and Specifications Details

Here is a rating embedded within this post, please visit this post to rate it.Cameron McKinnon is a name I haven’t heard before, but also a name I’ll remember when Nokia finally launches its Windows 8 tablet. Cameron is the creator of the beautiful Nokia Tab concept tablet shown below; running Windows 8 on top of an ARM based processor. This device is inspired by the Nokia N9 phone and by the Sony Tablet S, according to the designer.

Nokia Tab uses a massive 14.3 inch display, a 12 megapixel camera with Xenon flash and Carl Zeiss lens, plus Microsoft Kinect motion capture support through a front camera. The gadget is 12mm in thickness, it has 1GB of memory, a 64GB or 128GB HDD and it will be available in WiFi or WiFi + 4G models, if it’s ever made. It also has a SD card slot, a SIM card slot, USB 3.0 and micro USB 2.0 ports and a 3.5mm audio jack. Nokia’s concept tablet runs Windows 8 ARM Edition and its design also involves ergonomic curves for comfortable holding in portrait and landscape mode.

There’s also a power button with LED light in the mix, a camera button and the screen is curved making Windows 8 gestures more natural. The screen has a slope so that it’s easier to type on it and the bulkier side makes this look a bit like the Sony Tablet S. What do you think of this unique Nokia Windows 8 tablet? Would you buy one?
